Curses

For the past couple of weeks any time someone asked how things were going, I'd shrug and tell them it's normal. Nothing exciting one way or the other. And now that I've thrown statements like that out into the universe it's come back to get me.

So just an FYI, if you ever think that your life is too boring just find the happiness in it. There's so much more for us to love about a boring life. A boring life means you don't have anything in your life causing you stress. No stress about money and how you're going to pay your bills. No stress about doing things just right. No misunderstandings, arguments, or frustrations with your spouse.

Overall, I guess I'm saying that we should be happy with the simple every day joys in our lives. If we don't remember to notice those things we're likely to find ourselves being reminded.

Ha! I feel like I had this same revelation about a week ago (or was it two weeks ago?) when the tsunami hit Japan. I am always saying SSDD (same shi* different day) to people when answering how my day is. An average/boring day is totally a blessing. I am sure the people in Japan wish for the boring life they had before. Good post! Couldn't agree more. Still... it's hard to practice, but so easy to preach (for me).

So true. (And yes, I totally want to make a pun and say Amen at the end of the comment. =))
