Day 1

Day 1- recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

Well, technically this is the most recent one of me, though it's not me.
  1. I'm pregnant. 20+ weeks and still deciding what I think about it all.
  2. That I'm aware of, I'm the only one of my mom's kids to be born breech. She likes to tell people I came into the world telling people what I thought.
  3. I've still never been in a hospital since I was born except to visit others.
  4. I'm a blue sash in Wing Chun, Kung Fu.
  5. I LOVE Naruto (anime cartoon) from Japan.
  6. One day I want to color my hair a vibrant hue of the rainbow that doesn't occur in nature.
  7. I would love to have an extensive video/dvd/blueray collection of movies. Seriously, bookshelves.
  8. I HATE both needles and brussel sprouts.
  9. Fielding and I almost got divorced once. (Thank goodness we figured things out. Things are MUCH better than they have ever been.)
  10. I'm convinced that somewhere in my mind I secretly like crying because my eyes turn fiercely green. (Yes, fiercely green is a color. Just the shade my eyes turn when I cry.)
  11. When I was a kid I wanted to become a veterinarian. That changed when I found out I don't like animals hurting, dying, or blood and guts.
  12. I love opals. They are the only birthstone I claim. Screw pink tourmaline as a birthstone for October.
  13. I hope you picked up from the previous post that I HATE pink, though I LOVE orange.
  14. I'm a button mashing Champion. Fighting games, not a problem with my skills. Fielding won't play with me anymore 'cause I kill him.
  15. I love shoes! I would LOVE to own these.

Yay! The official announcement!! I don't think we ever talked about gender, so I am guessing it's a boy. Am I right?

Lol. It's a healthy baby. That's what the doctor keep telling me. Even if sometimes it just feels like that cartoon alien.

We're keeping the gender quiet.

Yay! You will love being a mom! It's such a special feeling to know that your baby loves you no matter what you look like, if you're cranky or not, etc. I'm so excited for you! When are you due?? Congrats to you and your husband!!!

I'm still in the 'it will be interesting' stage. That's the stage where you wonder what you were thinking to try something THIS permanent out.

I'm due the end of February. I'd like Leap Day. Just sounds fun. =)
